« Back to Chabad Jewish Community Center
to High Holiday Services with Chabad
where the prayers are warm, the people are friendly and everyone feels at home. Whether your background in Jewish prayer and practice is extensive or limited, the services will leave you feeling connected, uplifted and energized to start your New Year in a meaningful way.
The Experience
To join Chabad for the High Holidays is to enjoy an inspiring synthesis of delights for body and soul. Held at the elegant and spacious Holiday Inn in Mansfield, the atmosphere is as physically comfortable as it is spiritually warm and inviting. Services are not only about prayers and rituals, but moreover about celebrating one’s Judaism as a dynamic and enriching community experience; an experience harmoniously shared by Jews of any and all backgrounds.
Many of the prayers are recited by the congregation in unison and in English, so that everyone can participate. Hebrew/English prayer books are used throughout the service and Rabbi Yossi provides a running commentary with explanatory insights. Our popular Cantor will lead the congregation with his heartfelt voice and traditional tunes.
Childrens Services

A special program with English explanations, popular Hebrew songs, interactive stories and fun activities will be held on the High Holidays throughout most of each service, led by our dedicated counselors. This program will be geared to children and parents are welcome to join.

The programs will feature scaled-down Synagogue furnishings Jewish songs and stories, games with Jewish themes, and a taste of special holiday treats. Children will understand and relate to the deeper meaning of the holidays, appreciating the spiritual experience.
