High Holiday Reservations

Welcome to High Holiday Services at Chabad! Where the people are friendly and everyone feels at home.  Whatever your background, the services will leave you feeling enriched, connected, uplifted and energized. Services at Chabad are open to all. No membership and no charges! And it's for Reform, Conservative, Orthodox or any "kind" of Jew! 

While it's a traditional service, some prayers are recited in English, and all commentary/sermons are in English. Hebrew/English prayer books are used, and the rabbi provides a (sometimes humorous) running explanatory-commentary throughout.

All High Holiday Services take place at the Community Tent at Chabad : 35 Horace Street, Mansfield

Rosh Hashana evening services
Sunday, Sept. 25 & Monday Sept. 26 - 6:00pm

Rosh Hashana, Monday & Tuesday, Sept 26 & 27:
10:30am: Traditional Service
11:15am-12pm: Family Program (for kids and their families) includes lunch.
12pm: Shofar sounding for all.
1:30pm: Kiddish lunch 

15-min Short Service & Shofar, (Outdoor in the tent) on the top of each hour
3:00-3:15pm | 4:00-4:15pm | 5:00-5:15pm |

Monday, Sept. 26 - 4:30pm: Shofar-Service-At-The-Pond 
Fulton Pond (on Rumford Ave near Fulton St, Mansfield): Wide-open space to accommodate all . . . includes, Shofar sounding and Lake-side Tashlich service. Plus you'll get to take home a delicious treats for the children and Homemade pastery for the adults.

The annual Shofar & Tashlich Ceremony will include the traditional Shofar Blasts and the Tashlich Ceremony.
'Tashlich' at Fulton Pond has become a popular enjoyable and meaningful community event and is open to the entire community regardless of background or affiliation.

Join us for an elegant community sit down dinner in the Sukkah, complete with traditional holiday foods, and the warm Chabad Spirit of the joyous holiday. There is limited space on each night of the holiday.

Challah, Gefilte fish, Matzah ball Soup, Main dish, Kugels, Babka and more! Enjoy delightful company and a truly unique experience of eating in a Sukkah!

To give more people a chance to eat in the sukkah, we'll also have dinners and lunches during the week of the Holiday. Please email the Rabbi or Tzivi if you a specific date that works for you.

Every day of Sukkos (except Shabbos) we take the arba minim , a.k.a. "four kinds" to shake them.   It's a Mitzvah.   It also represents the unity of all types of people.

The four kinds are: A palm branch (lulav) , two willows (aravot) , a minimum of three myrtles (hadassim)  and one citron (esrog) .  Treat it with TLC; they're fragile goods!

The cost for a set of all 4 kinds is just $54. And they'll be available for pickup at Chabad, starting the day after Yom Kippur!

Join us for one, or both celebrations: a delicious, dinner and Brunch, along with celebration, dancing and more: on Simchas Torah

A full dinner will be followed by the celebration (and simultaneous children’s program of games, dancing and more.)

Huge holiday Dinner: including, Kosher Subs NY Deli, Franks-'n-blanks, Matza ball or vegetable Soup, Kugels & Knishes, Sushi, Gefilteh Fish & more. Soft drinks for the kids... and high-end single-malt scotch and other L'chayims for the adults

Everyone: Dinner 6:00pm
Family Program: follows dinner
Main Simchat Torah Celebration: 7:15pm 
(Cognizant of the hour, the kids will be done dancing with the Torah by 7:30pm.)

Completion and re-start!
Join us as we complete the reading of the entire Torah, and begin again anew.
Huge holiday Brunch: including, Bagels, Cream Cheese, Lox, Salads, Gefilteh Fish, Herring, Kugels, Knishes, Cakes, Juices, Open-bar L'chayims & more.

Schedule:
Morning Service: 7am
Kiddish & Breakfast begins: 7:45am
(There will be an abundance of food & L'chayims throughout the remainder of the service!) 

There is no charge to participate! Reservations are requested.

Participation in all High Holiday services is free of charge .

Please consider making a donation to help cover the costs of the High Holidays as well as the other wonderful programs that Chabad brings to our community.

You can also choose to become a "partner" which makes you a member of the coveted "Chabad Club" (and receive special benefits throughout the year) by going to our " PARTNER PAGE ".
