We strive to keep our curriculum fresh and fun, and diverse by covering the wide range of Jewish traditions, heritige, history and culture.

ALEPH CHAMPION
Aleph Champ, modeled after the Karate Martial Arts system of motivational colored levels, breaks up the Hebrew reading process into bite sized motivational levels which makes it more kid friendly and exciting.

Students start as a white Aleph Champ learning half of the aleph bet. They work their way through the different "belts" until they become a black Aleph Champ with the ability to read fluently from the Siddur (prayerbook).

Each Aleph Champ level has a color coded book, flashcards, workbooks and a medallion which is awarded once a level is passed.  All of these work together to create the motivation needed to progress in their own way. 

Reading groups are divided by color instead of age group, Aleph Champ influences the child to motivate themselves to advance in their Hebrew Reading.

JUDAIC STUDIES CURRICULUM
Is comprised of material culled from award-winning educational programs such as ToraPedia, Jewish Lifecycles and Lessons in Hebrew Holidays.

JEWISH HISTORY & BIBLE STORIES 
An overview of Jewish history starting with creation, to the giving of the Torah, to modern day Israel will be taught through interactive stories and art projects.

HOLIDAYS AND SHABBAT 
Hands-on lessons on each Jewish holiday will fill the calendar as we begin with learning about the High Holidays and continue throughout the year.  By the end of the year, the students will have a deeper understanding and appreciation of each holiday, its traditions and customs, and on Shabbat, and its special meaning to the Jewish people.

JEWISH VALUES 
Beginning with the origins of the mitzvot, stressing practical applications in our daily lives, our students will explore a personal Jewishness.
