Monday
Day 1 of an exciting experience. Pizza making. Sports. Learned about sharing and kindness. Teamwork Challenge. Kindness candy grams. decorated Mitzvah dollar boxes and recipe books. tie-dye aprons and heart bags. ended the day with a grand trip to Golf Country in Easton, MA.
Tuesday
Tzedakah themed day was a blast: Tzedakah box making. penny hunt. money counting for charity. cupcake making from scratch. dozens of cupcakes. decorating cupcakes competition. Slater Park. Swan Boats. Kite Flying. Culinary Science with Bart. Cool mixtures resulting in different colored liquid.
Wednesday
Taking care of Hashems World was todays theme. We sang 'One is Hashem.' We 'sewed' little people. made and fried delicious home-made doughnuts. ice cream sundae made out of chalk colored sand. Donut Pinata. Grand trip to Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park.
Thursday
Today we spoke about sharing and caring. We made hamantash cookies. Bracha came and talked about her program that helps people make good chices. 16 plates of cookies were donated to Gili's House. We made encouragement cards. we painted and flew Styrofoam airplanes. we heard Rabbi Yossi's famous stories. Grand trip to Pinz bowling and arcades.
Friday
Our last day of Camp this summer was more exciting than ever. we made Challah dough from scratch, braided and baked delicious Challahs. A delicious heaping pot of Matzah Ball soup was cooked collaboratively. some of us made the Matzah balls. some peeled the vegetables. we chose and trimmed flowers, decorated vases and made beautiful bouquets that we hand delivered to the seniors in the @The Residence at five corners - Easton ma. the flowers were bought @Arts n Flowers in Mansfield. All the campers got to buy exciting prizes at the Torah-Dollar store (all the 'Torah-Dollars' accumulated for kind deeds done throughout camp).
